Famous comedian Raju Srivastava passed away on the morning of September 21 at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi. The news of Raju Srivastava's death has created an atmosphere of sorrow between the industry and his fans. Raju Srivastava was a resident of Kanpur who belongs to a middle-class family. Raju Srivastava is also called by his fans by the name of one of his famous roles Gajodharbhaiya. Raju had a passion for mimicry since childhood. Due to this, he moved to Mumbai in 1982 to make his career. Where he also did small roles in many films. Raju Srivastava used to drive auto rickshaws to make a living in his early days.

He acted in movies like Salman Khan's Maine Pyar Kiya, Shahrukh Khan's Baazigar, Amandni Athani Kharkha Rupaiya, Wah Tera Kya Kehna, and Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon. Raju Srivastava participated in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge show in 2005. This show made Raju famous as a big comedian. After which people started calling Raju Srivastava as Gajodhar Bhaiya.


Apart from comedy, Raju Srivastava also participated in the famous reality show Bigg Boss 3. After this, he also appeared in shows like the comedy show Mahamukabala Season-6 and Nach Baliye.
