KK was a famous playback singer in Bollywood. KK's real name was Krishnakumar Kunath. He was born on 23 August 1968 in a Malayali family to Kunath Kanakavalli and CS Nair. Krishna Kumar i.e. KK was a famous playback singer in the Hindi film industry. KK did his schooling at Delhi Mount St. School. After this, he did his graduation from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi.
In his early days, KK never wanted to be a singer. He considered Kishore Kumar as his guru. Due to this, he made singing his profession. During his college days, he had also done a band with his friends.
Career:
KK started his career with the music album 'Pal'. KK got a big break in Bollywood with the song 'Tadap Tadap' from the film 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. After this song, he was counted among the big singers. If reports are to be believed, he sang more than 200 songs in Hindi. He wrote 'Yaron', 'Pal', 'Koi Kahe Kehte Rahe', 'I said to the heart', 'Awarapan Banjarapan', 'Dus Bahane', 'Ajab Si', 'Khuda Jaane', and 'Dil Ibadat', 'Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai' includes hit songs.

His fans and the stars are all in mourning with the news of KK's demise. On Tuesday, while performing a live concert at Vivekananda College, Kolkata, his health suddenly deteriorated. KK had complained of nervousness and restlessness during his performance itself. And after that, he was quickly taken to his hotel.

However, according to his post-mortem report, KK died due to cardiac arrest and died before reaching the hospital.

The concert which was organized by KK on 31st May was organized by the Black Eyed Events House company. That concert was kept for the student union of Gurdas College, which is managed by the Trinamool Congress Chhatra Parishad.

Hariharan condoled the death of KK and said – KK was a very private person. For me, this is a personal loss. A very sad loss for the family. I can't believe that KK is no more with us.
Music composer Salim Merchant, condoling KK's death, shared a picture of himself with KK and wrote- 'My brother KK I am shocked and broken… you suddenly left us… you have always sung from the heart brother… after all. Till the day…' With this, he has also shared a heart-breaking emoji.
Akshay Kumar tweeted late at night after the news of KK's demise and wrote- 'Very sad and shocked to know about KK's sad demise'. What a loss! om Shanti.
Allu Arjun also expressed grief over KK's demise and tweeted, "Very sad to hear the news of KK's passing. He sang memorable songs for me. He was loved by people of every generation and language. My condolences to his close ones. Gone too soon. May your soul rest in peace."
KK's funeral:
All the people of the film world are in mourning due to the sad demise of Krishnakumar Kunat i.e. KK. At the age of 53, KK said goodbye to the music industry. KK left behind his wife and their two children son Nakul Krishna Kunnath and daughter Kan Tamara Kunnath.
KK's last rites were performed on June 2 at the Versova crematorium. To give the last farewell to KK, big singers of the music industry and famous stars from Bollywood and Tollywood also came. and paid tribute to him. KK's son lit his dead body.
All the fans of KK attended the last journey of KK. During the journey, the fans became emotional and on KK's last journey, his fans also raised slogans of 'KK Amar Rahe'.
