Biography
Kriti Sanon was born on 27 July 1990 in New Delhi. Kriti did her early education at Delhi Public School RK Puram. She did her graduation in Electronics and Communication from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida.
She got two jobs after engineering. But she refused the job and shifted to Mumbai. She was the first choice for Akshay Kumar's film "Singh Is Bling" (2015), but she refused to act in this film. She was supposed to act in the film "Farji", though that film too went on hold.
Career
Kriti Sanon started her film career through modeling. Kriti made her debut in the film world with a Telugu film. Her first Telugu film was the 2014 psychological thriller film 1: Nenokkadine, directed by Sukumar. Her opposite actor Mahesh Babu was seen in this film.
Kriti got good reviews from critics in her very first movie. After this, Kriti made her Bollywood debut with the film Heropanti. Jackie Shroff's son Tiger Shroff was seen opposite her in this film. Kriti Sanon was also awarded the Best Female Debut Award at Filmfare for this movie.
She did her second Telugu film in 2015 and that was Dohchay. It was directed by Sudhir Verma. Kriti was cast opposite Naga Chaitanya. The film was average-grossing.
After this film, Kriti Sanon's second hit film was Dilwale. Kriti Sanon along with Varun Dhawan and big superstars like Shahrukh Khan and Kajol were also seen in this Rohit Shetty film. Rohit Shetty's film earned Rs 394 crore.
She took a break for one year and then in 2017 he did a film named 'Raabta'. It was directed by Dinesh Vijan. She was cast opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in this movie.
